Judging from what I've read on some of the flipping boards, there seems to be some people who think that making a killing on one deal will solve all their financial problems. These people have little or no money. They may have no job or have recently lost their job. They seem to be in some kind of dire financial condition, and still think that the lenders will give them money to invest.

I know in Florida a bunch of folks running around the state trying to buy worthless or way overpriced dirt and paying a fortune for it. They'll be paying taxes on it till they get very old. Politicians love these feeding frenzies. Pumps up the tax base..
