Like most extreme partisan writers, she entertains people who agree with her- that's why I find Dowd so amazingly funny and insightful, and why I find Coulter such a crazy twit- I agree with Dowd, and am repelled by Coulter's politics. It's all in your POV. That's a given. I have to say though, the Christian Jihad stuff was way over the top - and I haven't seen Dowd say anything equivalent. Maybe I missed it, but I can't remember her ever mongering for a holy war, or anything remotely like a holy war.

Go back and look at the whole first paragraph. Note the word "sometimes".....and the word "almost".... and "always"

Coulter is sometimes funny. At least she is smart, and is a lawyer...(not that the two are always one in the same thing <ggg>) I don't always agree with her, but I almost never agree with Maureen Dowd. At least Ann is funny. And she doesn't always pick on the Democrats....I've seen her be an equal-opportunity 'employer'....
