Ted, I just saw an ad for the new, $115-million F-22 Raptor stealth fighter, trumpeting how its radar can "intercept communications of insurgents." Using a $115-million aircraft to listen to cellphone calls by a bunch of jihadis in Waziristan staggers the imagination. Unbelievable. Though I like the F-22 for its "gee whiz" factor, I can't figure out why we're spending any more money on that plane. What, is China now threatening America's dominance of the skies? The way I see it there is this huge defense industry. They need these tech diversions to keep growing their industry.......to self perpetuate. ted
