There is no marker for past exposure. The most probable "marker" is change in personality, depression and multiple physical ailments not unlike Gulf War Syndrome or Lyme Disease. CO has a half life of about 5 hours and is out of the blood stream in a days time. The biggest problem is that detectors are set to alarm at a concentration high enough that the accumulated PPM in some rooms of the home could be many times that of the alarm number. Shootie
