Hi Ogi,

I think there are two issues with NGX. The first is that their Kemess South mine is running out of ore. The current data on their web site indicates that they've got roughly 5 years left. They plan to move on to Kemess North, but it's ore grade is about half the grade of Kemess South.

The second issue is that NGX is roughly a 50/50 gold/copper producer and investors don't seem to want to give it the earnings multiple that they give to pure gold producers. DPM and EPM are some other examples that I can think of, which are gold/copper companies with low valuation multiples.

Best regards, John.

Hi ogi,
<Also, if the explorers are in rarified air where do you think the miners are right now?>

I think a lot of explorers with nothing have double or tripled or real gone 3-4 times off the lows. The producers have doubled in some cases so I don't think the average move up is as far but they may be breathing thin air themselves.

Copper at 1.50 not sure but it would not help NGX. Or if gold were to lose 33% and go to 370 33% would we not see a similar loss across all gold plays?

As far as buying the best then we should all have only bought GG <ggg> but then we know that even being one of the best we like to gamble for the "potential" greater gain of a low multiple stock or a producer with turn around capabilities or at least those are the ones I like.

Wayne playing bagpipes with toby......... No Ogi NO! <g>

GYD will be a good play. The god news is now that it is famous outside of SI there is some volume to help get in and then out.
