Educated Indians have done nicely in the US.

Peter, I have known a number of educated Indians that were doing quite well, and they spoke English clearly, which made communication go in a normal matter.

I know that the British did rule India, and the local population was forced to speak the English language, but something has go awry since John Bull pulled out of the place. They have gone back to speaking hindi, and when they call, the accent it so prevalent, that it causes a lot of confusion on both sides of the wire.

I might add, that since most of the calls ask for my wife because on one purchase of medication on line, I told one caller that I had just returned from her funeral, and told the second one, that I was sitting at home with the urn full of her ashes. There have been no calls since then.
