"When were these trips?" Last one was about 4 years ago. We used to go every year but it is a big big world. I did not go into real "local" areas except on occasion. When I was eating in small non-tourist villages I always had tequilla or the equivalent to ward off the infections and flys. I was at Chichén Itzá on the Spring Equinox one year. I looked at the old hippies gathered there with their ghetto blasters and I had to smile at time and life! I wasn't being smug about the broken foot. I was asked to leave the old Boardwalk Holiday Inn in Vegas one time. Fortunately, I did not break anything. But these things do happen...
