Jim,

I should have made my point more clearly. One pays for food and gasoline quite often. The mortgage payment comes off the bank account once a month and is supposedly a fixed amount. Electricity and natural gas payments change on a montly basis and one notices the increases. It is for these reasons, I believe that people view cheap food and energy as their "right" and get upset with higher prices and then accuse the providers of gauging.
