"we did more than our share of bible studies ... <g>" Yeah, tell me about it. I was raised in a little town in NW Texas in the 50's and my parents did their obligatory duty to pack my sorry arse off to Sunday School and Sermon every week until I left home and went to college. Haven't been back since, 'cept for weddings (getting fewer) and funerals (more all the time). My gut always said that crap was somewhere between allegorical and bullshit. Even before I knew what those 2 words meant, the message never rang as literal truth. Know what I mean?
