bill,

turn everything off. and just sit quietly.
and i feel and see things have changed.

i physically feel it and visually see it.

well... so can i... in a manner of speaking.

one day last week, i went for
one of my daily walks around
the woods and fields here at the farm.

it was about 20F. out,
and overcast.
i turned the bend in the trail
and about 10 seconds after i did,
the back of my coat that was turned
towards what little sun there was
got hot... and i mean hot.

i thought, "man, that is weird as hell."

the trail turned back into the forest
and then came out again a ways later.
i came back out of the trees and
once again, my back got hot through
a coat and 2 layers of sweaters,
all in about 10 or 15 seconds.

y'know.. i think that's kinda scary.

and a lot of the rivers and large lakes
up here have still got a lot of open water.
we keep getting rain instead of snow...
it was raining like crazy when i got
up this morning.. and was about 40F...
then it turned to snow and the temperature
dropped throughout the day when the
wind swung to blow out of the northwest,
but i will bet it is warm again in
a couple of more days.

it's even warmer out on the east coast...
like, about 20F warmer than "normal"
for this time of the year.

it could mean nothing.....or everything...
