Mish, I was only confused by you so long as I thought you were talking about inflation and deflation. Now that I know you were only talking about money supply I have no comment on your "theories". Money supply can fall -- I don't care about that although it will be part of the stalling of the economy. And while the economy is stalling, prices can soar -- i.e we are heading towards stagflation. You can continue with you fixation on money supply -- to me it is secondary at most. My interest is in delfation and inflation where it seems you have no opinion.

Exactly. Reserve status is the key and the shift will be gradual.

Iran and the oil Bourse are red herrings. Dr. Hamilton is absolutely correct.
