We dig it from the ground so it can be proven, transformed and/or transfered.

I remember all the folks here burned by BREX and so many on SI were trying to get me into it - all that was needed to be PROVEN was a couple core samples by independent folks and not one crooked dude - you dont have to actually DIG IT UP today eh? We have xray, satellite, etc etc - so many technologies - come on. My friend has a radio shack metal detector - it is about 95% accurate without digging up the stuff - in the old days he said you wouldn't know it if was a rusty tin can or something of real value - but these new metal detectors have algorithms in them that make things much much better.

That is not a problem. If there is no more gold available, it will increase in value relative to other things. The market will take care of this adjustment.

What I have read of krugman and money supplies - this may not be the best way to manage things at macro levels. Kessler thinks gold is dead. 1971 and nixon ended that era.

Why go through all the trouble of digging it up and putting it back down - I dont get it - if my xray tells me there is a cancer in my chest - I dont need the doctor to cut open my flesh and show me the sick cells to believe - maybe that doctor is lying - I get a second opinion - I trust the technology because I have knowledge and science to back me - if you are never going to trust your technology and science (real science - not this psuedo crap) and knowledge - you will need to dig gold for all eternity - how sad. General chen better invest in shovel companies and caterpillar stock.

I click on the daytona beach web cam over the net

google.com

I can see the weather, the waves to surf on, and the tits and bikinis and believe they are there without driving over there and seeing it with my own eyes. It could be a sham - but I dont think so - if you saw core samples from several independant groups on a property - would you not believe thier aggregate consensus?

My niece sold her gold for a brittney CD at a pawn store - I dont see a lot of people wearing gold chains other than a snoop dawg who thinks that represents WEALTH - in the universities and top research places I have been to in business - those possessed with great knowledge never had gold chains or rings - what is thier problem? MTV shows being a gun slinging goldbug is the pinnacle of culture eh? Star trek geeks never get celebrated - only ridiculed - hehe.
