Orwell would be gravely concerned that his worst fears are taking shape. Now that we have come this far, no matter who gets in charge, the train to loss of individual liberty and freedom has left the station. When you hear people around you tell you that we are at war even though no war has been declared, the primary criteria of fear based manipulation has taken hold. It is the perfect "Forever War".
