take a look at CMGI.... it fell from it's heyday of $200 to now 1.49.. yet insider execs still cashing in their stock options for guaranteed money.

insiders are shameless. they are given stock options at pennies, thus guaranteeing them an instant profit even though their business performance has been awful.

Stock options are flawed. They mainly reward very short-term results. In other words, a company has one decent quarter, stock flies, insiders cash out millions in stock options, then company does crappy the rest of the year and stock plummets.
