What else offends you? Offend -To be displeasing or disagreeable- which that article was. In the first paragraph, it managed to compare the current admin to the German state, calls it the most corrupt ever, and refers to Rove's "weewee". It goes downhill from there. ALthough I have the feeling you may not have been asking your question out of a sincere interest, I will answer it seriously. Anyone who uses abusive language and insults in any way in any forum, whether it is an individual on SI, or the author of articles posted, is shutting down communication, rather than promoting it. When posting is reduced to extreme statements and is about scoring points rather than listening to the other side, people develop a win-lose mentality. Rational, intelligent, and open political discussion is hard enough to find on SI, and Dale tries very hard to maintain a civil and fair environment free of extreme partisanship on this thread. It is the place I find most compatible, and I would be equally "offended" by someone posting only from Conservative Truth or AMerican Spectator.
