The people who whined the loudest about using herbicides 50 miles from town with more than adequate safeguards were usually afraid their pot farm in the brush would get sprayed. I saw a couple of those myself way after the fact. Little mini drip irrigation systems out in the middle of a conifer plantation.

A colleague found a cabin with a nearby potfield on federal land. He reported it, but by the time the law enforcement people got up there the pot had been harvested. They posted a sign on the cabin ordering its removal. After a month, they removed it with a few sticks of dynamite.

Personally, I have no tolerance for these people. I think they should be dealt with harshly.
