markets cant work efficiently and allocate capital when they throw accounting and transparency to the wind - what is this guy trying to do? Take hoovers title as the "great engineer"?

Well, I can see Bush's point of easing up on audits and regulations. The concept has been a smashing success in coal mining. No safety problems there. No windfall profits for gas producers here. <G>
