Gottfried, I'm really surprised INTC dropped so continuously for the past 4 days. Mainly because there has been a ready buyer for 100's of millions of shares at prices near 23. I'm puzzled that institutions would insist on selling at lower price when the higher price is available to them if they just slow the selling rate by a little. As in right now. It must take very unique level of intelligence to manage these funds. Not high. Just unique.

Yes, always watch volume. I also wait a minimum 3-5 days. I may have mentioned the following technique when Auri and I were bantering about bandaged hands. Apologies if it is a rerun...wait until a falling knife has taken out a previous months high. No, it won't get you in at the bottom but I have saved a ton of money on bandages. Another benefit, Your get a built in stop point. I agree with Sarmad. 95 times out of 100 time is on your side in these situations.
