Gloria Steinem was on 60 Minutes last night... or some show I watched.. ( 0 mentality today ) and said that she was not a feminist I watched To The Contrary yesterday, which had a segment on Laura Bush and feminism. It was interesting to watch the panel relate to that label. They had different ideas of what it meant and many were averse to applying it to Laura finding it insulting. Yes, I know I went off on a tangent... <g> I never knew anyone who had an illegal abortion. That I was aware of, that is. I think that would be terribly scary. Enough to be life changing.
