It is different in a couple of ways-

a) The quality is much higher and the size of the file is much larger than an MP3-

b) The radio stations have to install the DMDS system
(kind of like an email interface) and the record companies then release the new tracks to the Musicrypt software system

-that way it is available at the same moment to all radio stations-

The copy is able to be tracked to the individual user for security purposes (for instance if the song is still in development mode)

09:08 XMSR XM Satellite started with an Accumulate at Janco; tgt $36 (27.22 )

Janco initiates XMSR with an Accumulate and a $36 tgt; the firm believes that current levels are an attractive entry point for longer-term investors as they expect that the ramp in factory install programs in 2007/2008 will stem market share declines and could provide upside to subscriber expectations. While their DCF analysis suggests a $45 value, they do not see any near-term catalysts which would cause investors to increase subscriber estimates and or ascribe higher multiples to the stock.
