Seems to me the US is playing one group against another to cause general disunity among the Palestinians so that they could be manipulated and exploited for Uncle Sam's private ends. Not? Remember how Germany was played against Russia and vice versa prior to WWII by the western allies (US & Britain)? According to Churchill, the so-called "last of the English gentlemen", the objective was not to help either side win but to make the Germans and Russians mutually deplete their numbers!!! Why? Because Russia was the "Red Peril" and Germany was the rising power and Nazi and therefore had to be eliminated! Read about this in the intro of William Blum's book, "Killing Hope" mentioned much earlier on this thread!
