We coulda made over 28.00 bucks today on this 400.00 stock. And it's not even up 20%.

It's no wonder there's so much interest in BRK/a. Talk about a Nice Measured Move on a Flag.

If small caps always outperformed large caps, then why would anyone buy large caps?

I don't think that SCs ALWAYS outperform LCs, the same way that stocks don't ALWAYS outperform bonds.<g>

However, if you have an investor advisor, he or she will probably recommend that you keep some of your money in bonds and also probably will recommend a larger % of LCs mutual funds than SCs.

( That's just my guess, since I don't have an IA and don't have any money invested on bonds.<g> )

Out of curiosity about your question, I glanced at the February issue of Money (Vol.35 #2) where they have a scorecard on Mutual Funds starting on page 90. I glanced through the first 5 pages, (from AIM to Goldman Sachs ) and made a list of LCs & SCs to compare results in 5yrs & 10 yrs.I found 26 LCs and 15 SCs and not all had the 10Yrs results.<g>

Sergio,

I am long COMS which is still in my buying range.<g>

It seems to be getting ready to resume the upmove that started on Jan.6 from the 3.65 level.
