I have read that review and several others and do not care for Kushners role in the making of the movie...however I think the reviews are an over examination of the movie and its pretense...

Alan Dershowitz, defender of OJ Simpson, and zealot of all liberal causes, I'm surprised you would reference him....

have you personally seen the movie...?

regards and thanks for the response...

"an audience has the resources to check"

Absurd justification in a world where most people have forgotten about Munich and think Spielberg is a saint. If a dialogue is the goal, he should not have poisoned the well with BS. The movie leaves the impression to the impressionable that Israel's response to Munich started the terrorist cycle, that things would have been dandy if Israel had simply lodged a stern diplomatic note with Black September.

I think Dershowitz basically got it right.

I hate "message" films, but this film's message was even more profundly flawed than the norm. While there was no direct, overt linkage of counterterrorism to 9/11 in its message, there is a very symbolic linkage because there was no cinematic reason for picturing the Twin Towers unless such a symbolic message was intended, especially in the context of the conversation between the protagonist and his handler which is taking place when the WTC is shown.

Dishonest garbage.
