One, that Israel gets attacked with them. But just like between the USSR and the US, unless they can knock out Israel's ability to respond, it would be suicide to do it.

That wouldn't seem to be a concern of the radical group of religious freaks running Iran in my opinion...

re: The other fear is they would sell one or more to terrorists and the terrorists would use them against the US or Western Europe. The same logic applies, unless the target can be crippled, the blowback is going to be severe. And it would be fairly easy to guess who supplied the device based on the technology used. And the supplier wouldn't exist for too much longer after that.

And the logistics for the terrorist group to deliver and explode a nuke become much more improbable. Hell it takes Osama weeks to deliver a cassette tape.

Two fears have been expressed here. One, that Israel gets attacked with them. But just like between the USSR and the US, unless they can knock out Israel's ability to respond, it would be suicide to do it. And they can never be certain they can do that. The other fear is they would sell one or more to terrorists and the terrorists would use them against the US or Western Europe. The same logic applies, unless the target can be crippled, the blowback is going to be severe. And it would be fairly easy to guess who supplied the device based on the technology used. And the supplier wouldn't exist for too much longer after that.

The irony is that it will take Iran a lot of $$$ and effort to catch up with Israel's military might.
