in spite of michael moore's plea, canadian's elected a conservative government. the good news is that it's a minority government so the right wing will not have their way with us - they'll have to compromise. imho, it was a protest vote as much as anything - you know, something like holding your nose and swallowing. my local candidate was reelected, so i'm happy about that, but he's not with the conservative party so will largely be ineffective. all those bastardguys are the same anyway but none more so than the right wing.
