do try to keep up....

ted's worried about walmart and it's impact destroying America, yet he doesn't seemed worried about the poor Ford employees losing their jobs because he bought a BMW.

ted was also all bent out of shape over Rachael Corrie being killed, but you haven't heard ted say a word about his brethren kidnapping Jill Carroll....

Why, do you want Tejek and his fellow BMW fans to buy only "Party-stamped" products? Do you want the USA to mean "the United SOVIETS of America"?!? No more "free trade"? Free markets? Away with Darwinian competition where only the fittest survive? "Buy American" even if it means purchasing crappy, unreliable, and expensive stuff? Frankly, do you really want to sign on for the space shuttle's next flight?

You don't understand.....American car companies are losing market share every year. Ford is becoming a shadow of its former self although profitable. GM is a mess. Its bloated mgmt. blames their problems on the unions when, in reality, their designers can not design and their engineers can't produce a car free of mechanical problems. Once again they were caught with their pants around their ankles, producing gas guzzling SUVs at a repid clip as crude went from $20-70 per barrel. Yes, GM has improved over the years but they move at a snail's pace thanks to their bloated mgmt. while the other car companies sprint.

Hence, to be a good American, you are encouraged to buy American. Think the Yugo!

BTW GM's bloated mgmt...............all Republicans! ;-)
