I watched the entire speech and the Q&A period. I thought it was GREAT. I love to see Bush when he is relaxed and bantering with the audience, that is the REAL George Bush and to me most people would like such a person. The Iraqi, Kurdish woman was ADAMANT in her praise to Bush, I think she managed to actually embarass him with her lavish remarks. Everyone in the crowd SEEMED delighted to me with the whole affair. jdn

Even FDR, who gave "fireside chats" didn't go often, if at all, to the campfire with just plain folks....Good for Bush!!! President Bush used it on Monday more like a campfire leader than a political preacher.
