I think your "diagnosis" is probably the core reason why the
Dems are so gelded and ineffectual.

If big money controls the DLC and the DLC controls the money in
the Dems, then it is all over.

On the other hand, if Dean establishes ANOTHER cash flow stream
and moves it in the direction of "reformers", there could be another scenario.

Theoretically.
