Significant minority. Well, I'm not sure how big that might be. If it's ten percent, not enough that anyone would be terribly inconvenienced by it, I think I'd like to see them go ahead and post their signs. Then we'd all know who and what they are. And how many. I think that would be a good thing all around.

I don't think the minority in this case would be very significant, esp. if you exclude people who might be bigoted and would like "to get the blacks, gays, and hispanics back in their place", but don't impose such bigoted restrictions because they realize that it would hurt their business if they did, and not just with blacks, gays, hispanics ect, but also with straight white people.

I am sure if the laws were repealed or struck down that there would be examples of bars and restaurants and theaters ect. that did impose such bigoted restrictions but I think they would be few and far between, probably a small fraction of 1% of such establishments.

The refusal of service today much more means to gangs, druggies, drug dealers, and any people who are bent on causing trouble....It is interesting to me that your examples are of race. Do you live in the South?

In the NW, that type of thing is nearly unheard of. And I say unheard of because I've never heard of such a thing here since the Civil Rights days of over 50 years ago.
