The people who work for a company, get their paycheck, and whatever benefits they earn. If they don't like it, they can find another job. BUT the owner of the company has taken HIS money, put in all sorts of EXTRA hours, usually about 70-90+ a week, certainly in the beginning, and normally doesn't pay him/herself anything or VERY little for his/her efforts for the first several years. I know. My employees made more than I did for several years after I started the business.

And since I was a recruiter, I KNOW what many, if not most of the startups did when they started out. Do you know how many hours the early Microsoft guys worked per week???? Many of them worked more than 90-100 per/week.....and slept under their desks. I know that for a fact, as I worked with them in those years, and knew the profile of the person they wanted....It definitely was NOT someone who only wanted to work 35-40 hours a week.

No one is saying they should have nothing. They inherit the salaried workers assets just like any other heir. The assets might be less but I don't think you are asserting that the level of assets each heir gets should somehow be the same. If you are I disagree strongly.
