The Mafia like PA has had its day. A victory for Abbas offers the israelis very little. Are we to be impressed with folks like Abbas and Hanna Ashwari and the rest of the recycled faces. Arafats with suits. With Hamas no illusions but if they take their reform job seriously would they automatically at some later date trade it in for war and the probability of defeat. Trust but verify. No Gorbys yet in Hamas but i bet there are some in the organization who are reasonable or can become reasonable. mike
