Come on, Q, don't you think colder than normal in Florida will make up for warmer the normal in the MW and NE? Supposed to get all the way down to 56 in Miami tomorrow night.

Course there's always plan B......they could flare the excess to ensure an interesting shoulder season.

>>>Does the market really believe we are heading to ~1,700 bcf by 4/1?<<<

I am reminded of what Warren Buffett said:

"For some reason, people take their cues from price action rather than from values. What doesn't work is when you start doing things that you don't understand or because they worked last week for someone else.".... "The dumbest reason in the world to buy a stock is because it's going up."

Hey!!!! Gassy equities have been going up. Never mind the storage, warmth, and 1.7 TCF on 4/1.

If I were running Iran right now, I would buy a bunch of puts on anything gassy (to include SUF if they were available - which they aren't), put the seals back on, and jet over to Jerusalem for some locks and bagels.

All those calls I sold are getting much more valuable with the rising equities underneath - just more room to fall with no skin off my nose - I have NEVER been able to pick a top. In the mean time, the time value has shrunken, and the opposing puts have gotten a lot less pricy. My finger is going to be on the buy put button on Thursday at 10:30. Actually, Wednesday at 3:45 would be better. E&Ps and OSXs have been noticeably taking gas in the last half hour before the DOE numbers these last few weeks. A lot of weak hands around. I wonder why???

Remember June '01.

Isn't Slider due here sometime soon??
