re: Progress CAN be made, and countries HAVE given up their nuclear weapon programs, as S. Africa did. Yes, and I think it's a noble goal. But we will never give up ALL our nukes... and that's what it would take to take the moral high ground. Iran (or most anyone else) will not give up their nuke ambitions or their nukes because we can only destroy them 5 times over instead of 50 times over. Maybe in a more enlightened world... John
