He mentions that confidence a lot-- not only referring to Koresh, and some of the agents, but in his profiles of psychopaths.

One of his points is how we are all susceptible to this kind of thinking, but some are obviously more vulnerable. It takes a lot of discipline to see it and deal with it, which is what the earlier article mentioned-- that need for self-inspection.
