First of all, Ignore and Ban are different. Ban affects an entire thread; Ignore affects only the relationship beween two posters. You were on Ignore; I don't believe you have ever been banned from this thread. Dave can give a final answer.

You wanna argue Kyoto? We can argue Kyoto. You're gonna lose though. I think I can do climatology and thermodynamics considerably better than you. But frankly, I don't think all the facts known to man will change your mind.

.Preferably with some debate or commiserating..and not extinguishment.
I absolutely reserve the the right to decide who I shall PM with. Period. And I am under no compulsion to waste time trying to change minds that won't change- -as that piece points out.

This that post you're talking about?

Looks pretty much based on fact to me. Maybe it set off those unreasoning prejudices you were writing about. The fact is you CANNOT deal with the issues raised there. If the current warming is caused by man, what caused all those that occurred before man existed?

Are you aware that that the new PM of Canada is expected to withdraw`from Kyoto? Or that Kyoto excludes limits on emissions on China and numerous other nations? Now that really makes sense, doesn't it? No limits on a nation famous for its pollution and who is increasing them fast? You don't consider sheer stupidity a good cause for rejection of a treaty?

You try to make it sound as though Kyoto is a freebie, yet it would dstroy much of American economic activity as it allows the Chinese to operate without constraints it forces on American industry. Are you ready for those breadlines again, compassionate liberal?

Here's the sequence that led up to that post:
