10:06 SUNW Sun Microsystems upgraded to Above Average at Caris (4.35 -0.02) Caris upgrades SUNW to Above Average from Average as they feel that the results of the December quarter indicate a corner has been turned at SUNW. They note that revenues have turned the competitive corner, back into growth mode; cost growth is moderating; and EPS set to turn positive. Following the comments by EMC management yesterday and considering IBM's recent outlook, they are bolstered in their belief that 2006 is likely to be a surprisingly strong year for I.T. spending.
