Brian, I agree that 300mm prime will have to happen and
IMO makes much more sense than planning for 450mm fabs.
It isn't even clear if silicon semiconductors will be the
leading edge technology in 7 years. I wonder how much a
450mm double polished/epi silicon wafer would cost and
how heavy it will be. That will be a hell of a single
crystal ingot to slice wafers from.

Of interest...if you can afford the reports. Fab growth, costs and world outlook.
