I think it is very difficult to get any data from the Comex on spot trades. So far even the dollar volume of future contracts in Dubai has been very low. Have seen no figures on spot trades.

IAU & GLD arbitrage potential for individuals is probably limited. Any meaningful differences between the two probably disappear instantly as the big arbs bring them into line.
