I definitely do NOT remember the 40 years the Democrats had control of the Presidency, the House and the Senate, that such vile things were said and printed by the Republicans. Me neither. Surely that wasn't the case. The incivility has escalated over time. The first I remember really vile comments was during the previous administration. This one has escalated even further. We weren't talking about incivility, though, I didn't think. You commented about the constant complaints against the Republicans and that's what I addressed. It is the place of the team out of power to criticize the team in power. Making an issue about that makes as much sense to me as making an issue over the lack of light at midnight. You brought up unrelenting criticism and I addressed that. If you want to switch topics to incivility, I can address that, too.
