Smart folks, those Swedes. They really consume a lot of fuel in the winter months. It will be interesting to see how they do it. I bet they pull it off ahead of schedule.

...and no mention of nuclear power!

I like their technology that heats a brick lined furnace during off peak hours to be released during the daylight hours when demand increases and furnace cuts off.

Helps level the electrical load and allows engineers to design for steady-state conditions on the utilities generators and transmission lines.
