That's the administration's requirement but what about the American public? What kind of people support this kind of abject failure to both protect the country AND find those who attacked us? The vast majority of the American public are sheep who prefer to be led by a shepherd. If there is enough grass to eat and no wolves to contend with, they really do not care what the shepherd is doing....until they get fleeced, slaughtered or sodomized. We will soon be getting fleeced,slaughtered and sodomized, I fear. I have made a CD of the Al Gore speech, and have played it several times, as well as given a few copies out to friends who I think are intelligent, but a bit behind the news. I don't know if it helps (or if they think I am nuts) but at least I feel I am doing my small part. I hope Al runs; I am now a fan.
