Perhaps it will be a 65nm demo. They only need a few chips for demo purposes. If the design is ready, I see no reason why at this point in time they could not yield a few chips.

That sounds most likely.

Here's a reason: If AMD plans to sell QC at 90nm, e.g. because big die designs being more sensitive to the maturity of the process, why would they show a 65nm chip?
