I also wonder whether there is any hope for the people there now. I had hope.....that is fading.

Off to a wonderful start....

Hamas, Fatah Supporters Clash
Jan 26 10:03 AM US/Eastern

RAMALLAH, West Bank

Hamas supporters raised their flag over the Palestinian parliament Thursday and rushed into the building amid clashes with Fatah loyalists a day after winning parliamentary elections.

The two camps threw stones at each other, breaking windows in the building, as Fatah supporters briefly tried to lower the green Hamas banners. The crowd of about 3,000 Hamas backers cheered and whistled as activists on the roof of the parliament raised the Hamas banner again.

It was the first confrontation between Hamas and Fatah since the Islamic militant group won parliamentary elections on Wednesday.

The Palestinians are a microcosm of the entire Islamic world. Like it or not, the entire Western world is now in a long-term crusade with a segment of the world that, while weaker and far more primitive, has far more force of will and determination to win. Indeed, their backward and ignorant nature is a strength rather than a weakness.

George Bush's doctrine is to build CLIENT STATES (ie., colonies-by-proxy) at every opportunity in the Islamic world. If successful, that doctrine will finally drag the Islamics into the 21st century. For them, that will be a jump of 1200 years.

But any alternative doctrine to Bush's, especially one generated in our thoroughly-corrupted Academia and pushed politically by our domestic enemy, will result in years of failure and mass slaughter. At the end off that blood-letting, the West will return to that profound Bush doctrine and WIN the world back-or the West will perish.

Those who view all this as simply a tactical battle to make Bush look bad (or good) will go down in history as the blind fools they are...

And the intellectual cancer that now threatens the West is no longer socialism, which has been debunked for a very log time. The cancer is secularism-which leads to both PC (the language of secularism) and the further abridgement of liberty and the cultural tradition that the Western world is based upon.

The New American Renaissance is the natural reaction of a people who see their very reason for existence threatened by a hostile intellectual movement that has already infected and virtually destroyed the academia that they built to SUSTAIN their culture.

The New American Renaissance may well be very brutal itself in the future. Considering the massive stakes, it is hard to predict that it will not be...
