re: FDC.V - Forum Development - C$0.41 URANIUM

Nice close on good volume (almost 300K) and a breakout above the old "boxed" range (C$0.30-C$0.40) - I hear an interview with Forum management is going to occur on www.stockinterviews.com but I don't have any confirmation yet..

stay tuned.. this company now is IMHO at an acceptable size for an Uranium firm (US$10m marketcap) me and they are also exploring significant CBM projects in BC. Why do I call $10m acceptable for Uranium exploration ? Simple - a meaningful drilling program costs around $2m. To self-finance such activities, you would incure 20% dilution at a marketcap of $10m.... If your marketcap were just $5m, the dilution would be 40% .. Ouch !

At $10m marketcap and with 100% owned projects, Forum can attempt to "carry" their acreage to the next level, high grade it by more delineation drilling, maybe until a significant discovery is made. Looking for a partner AFTER the discovery process lets shareholders keep almost all of the upside..

IMHO the trick is not to choose firms that are too small (say $5m USD) - these would be forced to JV away too big of their acreage percentage .. case study in point JNN.V (JNR Resources) - a fine company.. at $5m marketcap years ago, they had to farm out 75% of their acreage to Lundin's IUC.TO ... well they actually hit a nice discovery.. unfortunately JNN.v gets only 25% of the beef.. That's the curse of being too small when it comes to Uranium exploration..

FDC.v on fire since the Crossy Effect kicked in:
finance.yahoo.com

Meanwhile PXP.v has settled back to c$1.06 and still looks very attractive. Thx for the help on the yellowcake DD.

< re: FDC.V - Forum Development - C$0.36 URANIUM This is another noteworthy Uranium >

Thanks, Crossy! I bought some this week with some delay. (looks like I will have to quit job so i can trade in peace lol)

I added FDC.V to your other uranium picks: DJE.V, PXP.V, PAF.V which are showing some nice gains.

Thank you for your sharing,

Mario
