Uh, oh. In the midst of the "we wuv you Mistuh Pwesident" crowd that was handpicked in fascist Kansas, a thinking person sneaked in: tompaine.com I saw the clip on tv and it was gruesome. First, it was obvious that Bush was shocked by a real question. Second, it was even more obvious that he didn't have a clue as to what she was talking about. Third, he immediately ran to the lie, which she wouldn't accept. Fourth, he then insulted her intelligence by saying that she didn't understand that no money had been cut, when it had been cut and anyone with 4th grade reading skills knows it.

To give them credit, the knuckle-draggers in the audience did not shout her down, as they were enjoying watching the Liar in Chief lay out rope with which to hang himself. But afterwards, Bush regurgitated "I'm just an ol' country boy trying the best I can with a job that's really hard" scam in words and gestures (the gestures needed for the more Simian of the crowd). They seemed to bite into it, hook, line and sinker.

Lord, this idiot has his finger on the button.
