There is something known as fundamental human rights, ....

First, Google's presence in China does not circumscribe fundamental human rights. Second, Google's presence promises a greater opportunity for freely flowing information in China than if it were to reject the opportunity for a presence there. Judge Google 5 and 10 years from now. The opening of China is a process and outside influence, even if it is limited today, will be a driver for that process.
