Should this duly elected government launch attacks against Israel would you still consider it a terrorist attack or would it be an overt act of war by the elected leaders of the Palestinian gov't/people ?

Good question. Or, if Dr. Zawahiri some day gets elected as President of Egypt, is he still a terrorist -- or, do I have to pay for his protection when he comes to visit New York?

Not too long ago there was plenty of chatter about how Iranians were about to get rid of the Theocracy and reclaim their freedom. Instead, they freely chose an extremist as their leader.
