I am beginning to believe this to be true (AMD needing dell vs. dell needing AMD) more and more every day. The day AMD adopts dell it will be a dell need only. AMD need will have evaporated already.

on the contrary, almost all business buyers pay attention to the box makers and not CPU. That is the reason why AMD have some problems penetrating corporate market.

Very few power hungry users would go to IBM and actually request an Opteron system (as I did last week)
