Mike, tell me you are kidding right?

In all the gun battles between Arafat's men, and some other hoodlum's men, have you ever heard about any of them ever actually hitting anyone?

Hamas will be funded better than Arafat was, by Iran, Syria, Egypt, Saudi's,

please,

the US cutting off funds is good, but they won't miss a penny, in fact, they must laugh their asses off, in between puffs on their hashish bongs, every time a check from the EU or the US comes in anyhow.

Oh, "disarming" will be easy for Hamas now - they can just claim their militias are now official PA troops. Hey presto, disarmed. BUT they have to keep paying all the PA patronage troops. That's no small payroll.

The difference is that Hamas will have to take reponsibility for its actions. They can't just block things and carp about corruption. Whatever Hamas delivers, whether it's another terror war, an attempt to turn the territories into Saudi Arabia, or a more pragmatic law and order campaign, it's going to be their responsibility. A PA government that is responsible, that's something new.
