Look I am as big a believer in DISCLOSED stock options as there is, but I think MS has changed and I think that Management would try to lower the expectations of the employees so that they will be pleasantly surprised on the upside.

I think if that is true, MS has decided to err on the side of stability rather than risk volatility.

If you think this is wrong, I am not sure there is a good answer for you.

But given where I see the company going, they are going to out-sap, SAP., out Seibel, Seibel, out intuit, Intuit, and transform communications and entertainment distribution in the world, and institute a Revolution in the ways we Live, Work, Play and Learn.

And as Captain Kangaroo once said in the live early days of television,

'THAT AUGHT TO HOLD THE LITTLE BASTARDS FOR A WHILE.'

:)))

You are looking to hear a "bang" when you might be better off listening closely now for a whisper.

If Microsoft wants innovation, where developers can get rich, they must split up. It's that simple. Separate Office/Windows from new developing technologies. This will probably hurt overall performance in the short run.
